In the 2020 presidential election (based on official data released by the Hawai'i Office of Elections):

• Donald Trump got 196,864 (34%) of the votes in Hawai'i

• 100% of votes from Ni'ihau went to Donald Trump - they also voted overwhelmingly for him in 2016

• Hawai'i saw the largest percentage increase in Republican voters in the nation

In the 2022 gubernatorial race in Hawaii, the democrat candidate got 30% of the votes from all registered votes, the Republican candidate got 18% - a WHOPPING 51% did not show up to vote!! - keep this in mind when anyone tries to say that Hawai'i is a blue state​
